Distance Tool is a convenient and efficient tool that allows users to easily calculate distances between points on a map, as well as area calculations for non-overlapping polygons. The tool offers both metric (meters, kilometers) and imperial units (yards, miles, feet for altitude) for distance measurements. Coordinate values can be displayed in decimal or degrees, meters, and seconds.

This tool proves to be valuable in various applications such as mapping fields in agriculture, plotting land or home boundaries, or simply for general interest in distances and areas. It provides functionality to drop a point at your current location using GPS or other methods, and even allows you to email the results. Simply tap briefly on the desired location on the map to drop points anywhere.

You can easily share your drawings or shapes with others via email through the application. The shared file can be opened on any device with the Distance Tool application installed.

In addition to these features, the application provides standard map views, including standard, satellite, and hybrid options. It also supports quick altitude calculations without requiring data connectivity. This way, you can determine your current elevation or check the altitude of any point of interest.

One of the standout features of this tool is the ability to freely draw any shape directly on the map for quick area calculations. Furthermore, the Follow Mode allows users to calculate distances or areas simply by moving around within the map interface.
